The original PSE X-Force took the compound bow market by storm in 2007.  But this was only the beginning.   We knew the revolutionary "X-Technologies" would soon birth a whole new generation of thoroughbreds.  So when it was time to preview the 2008 PSE line-ups, we were eager to get our hands on the next generation of X-Force bows.  And when we finally had our chance to try them out, the bow everyone kept talking about - the bow we just couldn't seem to put down - was the X-Force SS, the short-axle magnum of the 2008 X-Force line-up.

The X-Force SS is amazingly compact.  In fact, the X-Force SS is so compact that you can shoot it while seated on the ground with your legs crossed.  This is the perfect bow for crouching in a small ground blind, leaning out for a shot over a treestand rail, or easing up to your knees after low-crawling through the high-grass.  If you hunt in tight-quarters and places where you need to be able to shoot from almost any position, the X-Force SS will help present you with more shot opportunities than you've ever had before. 

So the X-Force SS is indeed Super-Short, but don't think means the X-Force SS is short on performance.  This bow has a scalding fast 330 fps IBO Speed, so you'll be able to set just one or two pins to cover your entire bowhunting range.  And with this much power, you'll not need to worry about penetration either.  Just line it up, pull the trigger, and it's game over!  If you need to be able to bring down the toughest big game, even in less than optimal conditions, the X-Force SS is the bow you've been waiting for.  This is THE Super-Sport of short-axle hunting bows!
