The new PSE Freak comes with a gargantuan 28-33" range of draw lengths, so it fits guys up to nearly 7 feet-tall.  And you get a choice of 60#, 70#, or 80# peak draw weights ... and get this, the 80# versions are NOT special-order.  They're in-stock and ready to ship at all times.  The big & tall section is open all year!

As a matter of performance, the Freak is simply brutal.  When turned down to basic IBO settings of 30" and 70#, the Freak spanks arrows at 322 fps.  But when you let the Freak lose at 33" draw length, it piledrives arrows like a high-power crossbow, with speeds up to 358 fps.  That means the Freak can generate KE levels north of 110 ft-lbs ... almost twice the power needed to kill a full grown Grizzly Bear.  Whitetails may just surrender on sight.

Of course, we were quite impressed with the Freak's moderate draw cycle, comfortable let-off, and exceptionally low shock and noise.  We expected the Freak to be a handful to manage, but it shoots very similar to the Vendetta XL ... smooth and enjoyable.  So, we'll admit, maybe the Freak does have a sensitive side.  But let's just not make a big deal about that.
