Are these bows new? |

A: |
Yes. Every bow on our close-out list is new
(never sold to a consumer). So these units do
NOT represent models which have been returned,
remanufactured, or refurbished. Many of our
close-out units are still in their original
factory-sealed boxes. However, as indicated
above, some of the units have been utilized as
display models in our pro-shop or have served as
demo models for sales staff. So all close-out
bows are in excellent to new condition and
all bows come with their
original factory warranty.

Will the Hunter's Friend Pro-Shop adjust the bow
before shipping? |

Yes. Every bow
comes with free adjustments for draw weight, draw length, and let-off.
When you order via phone or online above, please
indicate your sizing preference and our pro-shop
will make all necessary adjustments before shipping
your new bow. |

When will I receive my new
bow? |

A: |
All close-out units are in-stock at our facility.
So close-out bow orders will typically ship within 2
working days. Bows are shipped via FedEx
Ground to continental US destinations and usually
arrive 1-5 working days thereafter. Please

to Alaska, Hawaii, or international destinations. |

Why only certain models and
sizes?
Where did these bows come from? |

A: |
The vast majority of our close-out bows are
remainders from our
Ready-to-Hunt™ Bow Package program. Unlike
most archery retailers who purchase a smattering of
the most popular items to offer for sale in their
stores, we typically purchase bows in large "sets"
of 50-200 bows (depending on the model) and offer
them for sale as Ready-to-Hunt™ Bow Packages.
And although we try to forecast the exact
distribution of how many RH vs LH bows and 60# vs
70# bows we expect to sell, forecasting sales isn't
an exact science. So
when a particular Ready-to-Hunt™ Bow Package offer
comes to a close,
we often end up with a handful of unsold units from
the set. In some cases, the unsold units may
all be left-hand, or perhaps 50-60# models,
sometimes we have a mixed-bag of odd-sizes
remaining, and sometimes just one or two bows are
left over. In addition, the close-out bows may
also include our original sample used for ad
photographs and demonstration. Either way,
these remainder units are set aside and they slowly
accumulate throughout the season. So every now
and then, we gather up the homeless bows and offer
them as first-come discounted close-outs. If
you happen to like a model that's still available in
your size, this is a great opportunity to save some
cash on a new bow. |

setup your new bow any way you like. Please

close-out page (November 6, 2008), the bows on this list
represent the sum of our close-outs for 2008 and
prior model bows. |
