Parker Velocity
One of our
hand-picks from the 2012 ATA Show. The Parker Velocity
represents a departure from Parker's usual solid limb style
bows and it was worth a close look.
Clearly the Velocity epitomizes this "bang for your buck"
philosophy. Take a good look at the features on this bow:
machined riser, parallel split limbs, pivoting pockets,
sealed bearing roller guard, positive draw-stop single cam,
two-piece walnut finish grip, and even an integrated string
stop. The Velocity is just a REALLY nice bow any way you
look at it, but it's not a $1,000 wallet-splitter. The
Velocity retails for just $399 bare bow and we offer it
nicely equipped, tuned, adjusted, and ready-to-hunt for just
$545.
The Velocity cam draws smooth and even - no heavy lobe over
or jerky transitions. In fact, several of our staff have
commented that the Velocity "feels underweight," meaning
that the bow feels like you're pulling less weight than you
actually are. It's that smooth. And there's very little
drama at the release. No buzzing. No hand-shock - just a
little thud as the string lands on the string stop. You're
going to love this bow!
