The Carnivore is one of the smoothest bows you'll ever shoot.  Why?  The secret begins with a specialized hybrid cam system incorporating a little gold pulley above the lower eccentric.  This little pulley, dubbed "The Krank," does something quite remarkable.  It gives the power side of the cam a 2:1 mechanical advantage.  This means that the Carnivore's limbs can be extra strong, with much heavier than normal deflections.  And because The Krank enables the cam to generate twice the force, the limbs only have to move half as far when they cycle.  And guess what happens when you have less range of motion in the limbs ...  Yep!  You get less vibration, less noise, and less wasted energy.  When you fire the Carnivore, it doesn't jump and buzz in your hand.  The energy goes into the arrow ... so there isn't much left behind to create unwanted noise and recoil.
