Building upon the success
of the phenomenal Fred Bear Truth from 2007, the engineers at
Fred Bear set out to change a few things for 2008. But after
months of collaboration and field-testing with Team Primos, they
ended up changing everything! As you might expect, the
TRUTH 2 is certainly an "on-paper" improvement over the
original; it's faster - quieter - lighter - and more
forgiving. But forget about all that. The TRUTH 2 isn't just
the sum of it's parts and gizmos. The TRUTH 2 is a total system
advancement, the perfect harmony of technology, ergonomics, and
craftsmanship. By the time you unload your first quiver full of
arrows, we guarantee you'll be singing in the Fred Bear Choir
too. The Truth 2 feels so good, you just won't want to put it
down.
 What's
a "total system advancement"? Here's an example. The Truth 2
incorporates Dual Arc String Suppressors, one upper, one lower.
Working in conjunction, the Dual Arc Suppression system stops
forward string inertia and arrests vibration before it starts.
This means no more string-slap on your forearm and no more
buzzing string resonance. But more importantly, the Dual Arc
Suppressors help every arrow to disengage the string at
precisely the same moment. So every shot with the Truth 2 is
exactly the same as the last. Through a 20 shot chronograph
sequence, our test bow varied by less
than 1 fps. That's serious consistency. That's
system enhancement! That's the Truth 2!
